The Light is A community outreach that provides both free and low-cost household, clothing, and food supplies to the citizens of the Correctionville and surrounding communities.
• Household items - Furnishings, bedding, and other household items are offered at a low price per item cost. gift certificates are available for emergency situations to obtain all needed Household items without cost to the family or individual. Any organization may refer to us for appropriate assistance.
• Clothing - All clothing is $1.00 per item. We offer $20 gift certificates per person to any family or individuals who would benefit from this gift. Likewise, gift certificates are given to interested organizations to distribute to anyone they feel would benefit.
• The Cupboard food pantry - is open during business hours to families and individuals who would benefit from receiving free food on a once-per-month basis. Food Baskets will also be delivered as needed. Interested organizations may refer or pick up for anyone who would benefit.
• Ministry Hours - Summer hours are Saturdays 9am – 12pm, May 13th - labor day or by appointment (call above #)
Donations
•We are accepting clothing, household, and food donations Saturdays 9am -12pm (please help us by donating quality items only)
• Monetary donations are accepted also. this is a non-profit ministry. Proceeds will be given back to the community through various outreach events.
